It's been a while since I released the last version of my open source application, Screenshot for Symbian OS. The new version (v3.01) is now available at SourceForge.net.
Unfortunately, only the unsigned version is available right now. As you may know, it takes a while for Symbian Signed to sign freeware/open source applications. So, please be patient to wait for the official signed version. Meanwhile, you can just download and sign it using your own developer's certificate.
What's new in this version?

@bogdan: You are right, video capturing is more challenging. :)
You can actually do a bit manual work if you want to. Screenshot supports "continuous mode" capturing; which means you can capture screenshots in burst mode. You can then combine them together on the PC to a video. It's not perfect; but it works if you just want to have some kind like tutorial.

Hello Antony,
I am a great fan of this application, have using it since the very first version few years ago..
i hav an idea for a nice feature, and hopefully wouldnt be to hard for you to create.
I would love for there to be a Send feature, what i mean is, an extra option on the settings, save or send.. and when you have send selected, you take the screenshot using the normal camera key, and instead of saving, it will give you the s60 defualt send options instead..
I am editor on symbian-freak website, and am writing many many reviews of applications, and for me this such feature would great for me, as i can take the screenshot and send it directly to my PC over bluetooth, or better still, upload it directly to flickr or ovi share using the new online share v3 update.
what do you think?
thankyou very much for reading my post.
best wishes
marty

It's good. I especially like the camera button shortcut (which may have been there in a previous version, but I didn't explore much of the app until now).
I haven't seen any video capture application for Symbian phones. I do realize it's hard to make, but interesting. Would love to have one.
