I previously introduced a reinterpretation of the geo-wand concept we called Point’n’Seek along with its ability to create directional photographs to enable a mobile user generated streetview. The video that follows shows a version we were asked to demo for potentially supporting the Fire Service at an incident to locate things such as fire hydrants. As the video shows in other respects it has the same Flashlight search as previous using the magnetometer (digital compass) for direction and the accelerometer for distance to allow a physical pointing control.
