Connecting Flash Lite and Java ME

Hi readers,

I've just released Jarpa source code. You can always use the SVN repository to download the latest code.

Update: You can also take a look at the Wiki Article.

hi felipe

i'm having troubles testing this project..

how exactly can i run this? I've downloaded netbeans mobility pack, and i only get to see the jarpa debugger in the emulator ( nokia s40 5th edition )

it seems like it does not work on the s60 3rd edition sdk?

what am i doing wrong?

Hi,

Please, test direct on the phone. You can always use Nokia's RDA.

Hi, I tested on the phone and the swf launches.

There is one little problem. I just put my swf in the main project directory. I have to put the swf manually into the others directory. If not it seems to get copied into that directory, but then it is corrupt.

Any experience? How exactly should we embed the swf into our java project?

i fixed it in my compile settings, it seemed like my swf did not get into the jar file! :)

hi Felipe,

i just tested your source example on a nokia n95 with fl3 and i get a connection failed:

reason:

internet:
server not found

i changed the as2 and made an instance of the jarpa class like with '127.0.0.1' as a host string in stead of just ''

Any idea?

Grtz
