At Where 2.0 event at San Jose, Nokia announced the releaes of the Ovi Maps Player API to developers. With this, developers can embed the rich Ovi Maps features into their web sites. Some of the key features of the Ovi Maps are the 3D view, satellite and terrain views and customizable visuals. Developers can also mashed up the Ovi Maps with content from other services, for example latest breaking news from Associated Press.
