Calls!nfo V1.0.0

Hello all

Here comes an effective application in PyS60 calls!nfo V1.0.0.

Calls!nfo is basically a enhanched way of representing the normal call logs in S60 phones. The application is developed by myself and my freind chintan (a.k.a ck.umraliya).

Call!nfo breaks the monotonous way of getting the call logs infomation and gives you details about your logs in a new graphical fashion. Following are the details about the application:

Features:

  • Recent Calls:A graphical analysis of your recent incoming and outgoing Calls.
  • Calls Distribution:Know the persons who you contacted the most in recent days. It finds 6 most contacted numbers and shows the total call duration of each of them. It compares it to the rest all other calls' duration.
Screenshot
  • SMS Info:Now get to know how many SMS you sent to a particular number and know the total umber of SMS sent.
ScreenShot
  • Estimate Bill:Calculate your monthly amount spent on SMS and Calls and get to know the total bill at the end of the month.
ScreenShots

with all the above mentioned features there are some tasks which we are kept for future development and we will try to complete them as early as possible. The Future Palns are:

Future Plans:

  • Location Tagging : Know at which location you have made the calls and receive the calls.
  • Itemized Bill: Upload all your data to a particular secure server and fetch it when you want no need to pay extra to the operator for itemized bill.

For this application i like to give a special thanks to our prof.Kiran Trivedi without him this application would not have been possible.

The application can be downloaded from mobapps.

One morething if you are facing the problems with the sis file functioning , then you can downlaod the code package.

Just read the readme.txt and get going with the application.

Hope you all like the application and we are very much open to your suggestion and feedback.

Best regards

Gargi Das

I expect

I would say yes but I wonder if in an efficient way. I expect that those using Avkon would ignore RGA and vice-versa, that's why your back buffer implementation will find I'm sure a lot of interested readers/users.

Actually the problem might be with the python installation drive. Nothing else.
And great that you liked it.

Is it opensource? Can you put a link to source code and license disclamer to app main page (http://mobapps.org/PyS60/calls_info/)?

Hi Gargi Das,

The idea is definitely worth spending development time. Its very often that you need to see a more detailed history of call logs and I feel that currently the capability of Nokia phone is not fully optimized. It will be a good start to see more detailed call logs in the future nokia hansets or firmware updates including such module.

One of the features I like in your application though yet have to put it to test is :P

-Feature which shows the total call duration of each of contacts. This can be quite powerful feature in a stand alone SIS application where a company may want to find where is it's employee spending most of his time talking. It can silently sent to a back-end database without employees knowledge to keep call logs.

Overall, Good try
