New Internet Tablet (N810) and Maemo support at Forum Nokia

The new Internet Tablet N810 was announced at the Web 2.0 conference. Main differentiators to N800 are sliding keyboard, smaller size and integrated GPS. The new OS (OS2008 based on maemo Chinook) includes official Mozilla based browser and SIP calls, optimized Flash video, Windows Media support, Maps application, etc..

Availability? Mid-November.

Related to this device launch, Forum Nokia also announced support for maemo platform.

hartti Please remember that Nokia has the policy of not commenting on roadmaps or future products. Being it two days in to the future or or two months into the future. There was nothing Quim could do, other than not speak about the device. It was not his decision to make. So please do not kill the messenger (Quim in this case)
