Don't expect miracles here, don't expect solutions to world's problems. It is more likely that I will ask [myself] questions looking for a always elusive answer.
And of course: "All opinions expressed in this blog are the author's own and do not necessarily represent the official view of Nokia". I mean it!

Important note: before you start updating make sure that you read carefully the upgrade instructions from Carbide's help. The basic idea is that " ... Replacing any standard Eclipse plug-in with an updated version from a non-Nokia update site can result in Carbide.c++ no longer working as intended. ... "
One thing for you to do now: bookmark this page so you can check on it every now and then. That of course unless you would prefer to use Widsets and get your notifications on the phone. If so, just click on the button below:

That process it really slow as it goes through all the possible repositories and mirror selection. As for identifying the update one would only have to remember the version of the IDE build, the rest will follwo :) That's why the Google gadget is only showing the IDE version.
I've been poking my nose in mobile software development since 2000, starting on what was then the ER5 and Ericsson's R380. Since then I've been doing a bit of everything on the S60 Platform, from learning its bits and pieces to helping others find their way trough the maze.

Re: Are there any updates available for Carbide.c++ ?
siancu | 28/06/2008, 20:47
Yeah, but you still need to manually check the versions of the components you have installed. So in this case, it's faster to just do update from Carbide itself, isn't it?
