My first impressions on the 5800 XpressMusic

Just got my brand new 5800 XpressMusic 3 days ago and I'll post some impressions here:
Design
In my opinion, the phone is very good-looking. Nothing to compare with a Nseries, but we have to consider it is not a high-end device like the N96, for example. Although, got disappointed with the phone casing, there is a little gap on the top right corner, which makes a cracky noise when you press that region. Searching in the internet found out it is a common issue ... 
Multimedia
I'm really satisfied with the multimedia features of the phone. Watching videos, listening to music, browsing through the photos and surfing the internet is just as good as it could be 
But the camera ... what can I say? It barely looks like a 3.2 megapixel camera. N73's camera was better than that! Downgrade here ...
Touch UI
I was thrilled to try a touch interface in a Symbian phone. And they work nicely together! The 5th edition still has much more to evolve but it was nice to see it is in a good stage already. I really enjoyed the way they ported the Symbian plataform and adapted it according to the needs of a touch-based device.
Battery
The battery is just much better compared to my N95 8gb. It lasts easily 2 or 3 days with intense use, so it should last a lot with normal use.
Conclusion: I'm really happy with it, since it got much better than the prototype I tested last year and seems very good for a first touch-based device by Nokia using Symbian plataform. Can't wait to test the N97!

In many aspects it's a nice device, however the first try is not always lucky.
The most eye-catching problem about Nokia 5800 is the quality of the factory assembling.
So anticipate delivering of the N97! :)

I have here at home the 7710 (http://tinyurl.com/cxp2up) in mint condition I bet its a real collectors item now.
I think its from 2005, but I also know that that too was not the first touch device we ever made.
After using the 7710 for over a year with great pleasure (2005-2006), I took the N93 into use for its great camera. For emails, I used the 9300 which did a great job on mobile email.
The one thing i never forget though is how I kept pressing the screen of the 9300 with my fingers, because I had so gotten used to touching the screen :)
I do think that for serious business use one really does need a keyboard, so I'm already looking forward to the N97.

wavesecure Uninstallation for 5800 Xpressmusic

I have a 5800 Xpressmusic in which I installed the Wavesecure from the official Nokia India website.
However when I try to use this application it asks for Indian Sim Card.
I tried to uninstall this application, which was installed on the memory card, but everytime it shows Uninstallation Failed.
can anyone help?

I bought Nokia 5800 the day it released, and seriouslly it's one of the finest phone that nokia had launched in previous years....

One small thing - "a first touch-based device by Nokia." - can't really say that!
Maemo Tablets are Nokia's products too. ;-)
