Brinkmanship

Thomas Schelling wrote “Brinkmanship is thus the deliberate creation of a recognizable risk, a risk that one does not completely control. It is the tactic of deliberately letting the situation get somewhat out of hand, just because its being out of hand may be intolerable to the other party and force his accommodation.” Qualcomm and Nokia are doing a bit of brinkmanship at this moment regarding patent licensing dispute.
For those of you who have lost interest in politics and war, but still like to watch a masterful chess match. This should be interesting to watch.
