Scott Janousek's Forum Nokia Blog - with a focus on Flash Lite

Greetings and Salutations!

Hello "Forum Nokia" World! This is my obligatory 1st post!

As a fairly recent addition to the Forum Champions; I've also just now been recently added to the blog-o-sphere here on Forum Nokia Developer Community Blogs ... (Many thanks to Anne for expediting this process!)

For those who may be wondering within the Nokia Forum community; I am Scott Janousek; one of those "brave souls" doing really cool Flash and Flash Lite on embedded and mobile devices. I've been doing it for quite a while, actually ... essentially, since Flash Lite 1.1 hit the "Western world" (circa 2005) (BTW: I am based just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, USA).

If you're interested to know about me: google me ... or point yourself to this (somewhat out of date) bio over at linkedin.com, get more info off my mobile site: scottjanousek.mobi, visit my personal blog, or this corporate bio (blah).

In terms of professional info; I started Hooken Mobile in late 2006 (I act as CEO/Technical Director). Currently, we specialize in Flash Lite design and development across many platforms and devices, including S40 and S60 (our favorite Flash Lite enabled (handset) platform, actually!). We have also branched into other areas of mobile design development service offerings this year (will talk more on this soon).

In terms of community ... in addition to being inducted to the Forum Champions program recently, I have created, maintain, and stay active in many Flash (and Mobile) related community efforts.

Some examples of this:

My intentions on this blog are to talk very specifically about all things relevant to what I am doing with Nokia platform technology; especially Flash Lite on S40 and S60 devices. For all other Flash Lite posts, please see my other personal blog.

Also, for those wondering ... my latest Nokia devices are: the N95 (Non-NAM), E90, and N810; my favorite being the N95 for the crux of Flash Lite development on S60!

OK ... So, now that I covered a lot of basics ... enough about me!

It's nice to be here! My next post will be something technical ... until then, c'ya.

P.S.

To those I met at the Nokia Developer Camp event (Las Vegas) a few weeks back; greetings all!
