Hi,

Resistive Touchscreen is not possible to make Multi-Touch service? I don't think so. Please check this video!

NeuSenseEngine is a Multi-Point Touch Screen Engine for S60 5th. It allows user to Multi-Point touching on the screen even it's a resistive type. However, this engine has some limitation. The point's position has to be fixed and you can't move your fingers around to make service like picture zooming in/out.

Incidentally, I also found some of similar thing to NeuSenseEngine from Symbian Freak. You should check it. It's quite cool and interesting game. ;)

Quite interesting idea. And what are the technical details of the realization? I assume that in case of sequential pointer events you get coordinates of the "middle points", e.g. when at first touch top-left circle then top-right circle - you get pointer event with y-coordinate = top and x-coordinate = (right-left)/2. Is it so?

Yeah, I know, you wouldn't disclose the truth :)

Yes, something like that. :)

When you press the upper left and upper right simultaneously, device will detect that you press at upper center.

So question is how to distinguish lower left-upper right and lower-right upper-left? Theorically, it should detect that user press at the same point, center of screen, right? But in practical, it's not non linear function. So the result is different and available for developer to detect.

That's the secret behine my NeuSense Engine. ;)
