Yesterday I passed the clothes accessories store and found the alphabet laminate plate. So I bought it and sticked it on my blank T-Shirt with the hot iron. And at last, here it is:
Look great? (Please see only T-Shirt, don't look at that man!) I don't know what you think but I like it ^ ^
Need one? It's quite easy to do, I did it in just 5 mins! So let do it by yourself and show us yours!

I just found this fantastic clip from nokiausa.com and from YouTube. The clip's name is What is an "Unlocked" Device. The clip is simple but you know? I love it much!
I don't know the objective of this clip but I guess that it should relates with huge number of USA users that use locked device. :)

I just finished updating my Nokia 5800 to latest firmware version v30.0.011.
Unfortunate that I still don't have the official change log but after testing it by my own, I didn't see any obviously change but I feel that it's much stable than previous one. However, new version should be better than older one, right? ;)
It's still not available from OTA update and also Nokia Software Updater. I flashed it with Nokia Phoenix software. And as I know, it's already available in Nokia Care in Thailand. So, please contact your local Nokia about this.
Good luck!

Hi All,
It's such a long time I didn't publish any video. The word 'busy' is not enough for me for a while. However, I still be able to find some time gap to develop something cool. Here it is, I proudly present my 6th Neu Project, NeuRoom. It's the home appliance control system via Nokia 5800. Actually I have been used it for 2 months already but I just have time to make the video presentation yesterday. It's so useful. Honestly, I like it so much and I strongly believe that wireless home electronic appliance control system via mobile phone will be neccessary thing in the near future for sure. Everything has beed described in video, let's see it.
Cheers,

Hi,
Resistive Touchscreen is not possible to make Multi-Touch service? I don't think so. Please check this video!
NeuSenseEngine is a Multi-Point Touch Screen Engine for S60 5th. It allows user to Multi-Point touching on the screen even it's a resistive type. However, this engine has some limitation. The point's position has to be fixed and you can't move your fingers around to make service like picture zooming in/out.
Incidentally, I also found some of similar thing to NeuSenseEngine from Symbian Freak. You should check it. It's quite cool and interesting game. ;)

Today is the first day that Nokia 5800 has been sold for the one who reserved for it in Thailand.
Nokia 5800 is the most wanted phone ever for Thai people. I must admit that I have never seen any phone that have very great feedback like this.
The phone started selling at 1.00 PM but let guess when the first one come to queue? ... 5.00 AM!! He is the student that wait 5800 for a long time. Congratulations, at last you owned it. ;)
Although the air temperature is quite hot (35C) but they are willing to wait. Thanks Nokia Thailand for well management. They have food for the customer in queue all the time. If who get tired or feel hot, they also have refreshing towel for free too! Wow! However, they are nearly no need since the queue went quite fast because of hundred of cashier counters Nokia managed for customer.
Not only well managed event is, but well designed too. I like this demo booth much!
The event was very big and professional. Staffs are very professional and have good knowledge on Nokia 5800.
Congratulations once again to Nokia for great success. Your phone are rock!

At last, long await firmware update for Nokia 5800 was released already.
If you have 5800, just do the following steps to update your phone.
0. Make sure that your battery is full (VERY IMPORTANT)
1. Go to Dial screen and press *#0000#
2. Press Options -> Check for updates
3. Connect to the internet with any APN (WiFi is recommended, however EDGE is fast enough for this)
4. Wait until the download finished. Phone will launch the dialog asking for update, just press Now.
5. Press Accept and Accept and the phone will be switched to Updating mode
6. It takes around 10 minutes to update, so be patient. After that, the phone will be rebooted automatically.
7. Check by *#0000# again. Congrats! Your 5800 is now v20! :D
As I can see, there are so many improvement and worth to update for example, ability to take a picture from front camera and the phone operates faster than previous version. ;)

Hi All,
It's me, Sittiphol Phanvilai. Hope you all still remember me. :)
Today I come to show you my 5th "Neu" project series. Its name is NeuBoard Touch, an image manipulation engine for Series 60 5th edition. Let see it.
Now it's still only engine and not full featured application yet as you can see in video. I'm thinking for some new cool applications that will use this engine. ;)
See you again so soon with 6th Neu project. :)
Best Regards,

Thanks for a lot of positive feedbacks all of you gave to my project, NeuScreen v2, the project that changed normal TV screen to Multi-Touch screen using only N95 and a pair of IR pens. Please know that I'm so honor with that great success.
Today I come to show you the newer version of this project, NeuScreen v3. Old features have been improved and new cool features have been added. No more IR pens in this version because it has been improved to IR gloves which is much more practical for real use.
OK. Let see it!
Thanks to Nokia for making high quality Symbian Phone like N95. From its abilities, I must admit that I can't call it as "Mobile Phone" no more, I have to call it as "Mobile Computer". It has Sensitive Camera, Graphic Acceleration Chip, OpenGL and High Performance CPU. All of them allow developer to make great things more and more. I think that is more than enough to be Mobile Computer. Are you agree?
I'm deciding to publish it as open source project in Q1 2009 to make all of you enjoy this technology by your own hand. I will inform you again via Forum Nokia Blog that time.
Hope you enjoy!

Long time I didn't write blog in Forum Nokia Blog. However, I'm still here as a good reader. ;)
Today I write this blog entry because today in last year was the day I got winner from Forum Nokia Open C Challenge held at Nokia World 2007. I still think about that event everyday because I had very good time there. Nokia World 2007 is very great experience for me.
My life change quite much from that day. Many guys from over the world know me from MobiTubia, the application I won in that competition. I never think that my project will be the popular application for users from over the world before. I never think that I will have a change to be a well-known person for the Symbian world before. I always think that am I dreaming (even for now)? But no, it's real true! I'm still awake! Many good opportunities and good works come continously. I have chance to know guys from well-known company like Mozilla, Google and etc. Woohoo, that's one of thing that I have never expected before.
There are so many guys I want to say thank but I don't have any chance to do. So I will use this time then. First is Vera Hick and Eric John. Thanks a lot for taking care of me very great at Nokia World 2007. You changed my hardest time of my life (from the first time of going abroad alone) to my greatest time ever ^_^. Thanks Tong Ren, developer of must-have application like FlipSilent, for the good time at Nokia World 2007. Thanks Marty3, bery95 and Teo for all of your help. Although I didn't contact all of you quite for a while but please know that I think of all of you all the time. Thanks Ron for this great place. Thanks Anni-Mari for taking care of me and fellow Forum Nokia Champion. Sorry for many guys I don't mention here but please know that I realy wanna say this word to you. "Thank you" :)
And the last one, thanks a lot Forum Nokia for this good life. :)
For anyone who need to have this great chance. You still have some time for Forum Nokia Calling All Innovators Challenge. ;) Good luck all!

First of all, let me say Congratulations! to Series 60 for the big improvement to the new generation, Series 60 5th Edition. Today I will bring you through this great thing. (All images in this blog entry were captured from Series 60 5th Edition SDK Emulator)
First Opening
When you launch device for first time, same as earlier version, you have to select region and set date/time.
Welcome to Active Idle screen!
This theme is too bright. I don't like it, so let me change the theme...
OK! Much better! It's nice looking now. ^_^
User Interface
Generally, user interface doesn't change much. It still has Status Pane at the top of screen and Softkey Pane at the bottom of screen but there is one additional pane above the Softkey Pane. It contains some amount of menu icons for the application.
Let see what is the icon in that Menu Pane mean. (I'm not sure that in official it's called Menu Pane or another)
Swirly Button
Familiar? Yeah, now swirly key has been moved to active idle screen already.
Dial Keypad Button
Bring up the Dial Keypad.
Profiles Button
Open Profiles application.
Basic Applications
Press Swirly Button, the familiar menu screen will appear.
Familiar but much more fantastic, right? ;) Now, Let touch some icon to launch application. The first one I'm going to show you is...Contacts.
Now, let create new contact by press the right most button on Menu Pane or Options -> New Task. (In my opinion, it's quite user friendly. It's very similar to S60 3rd Edition. I don't need to learn anything.)
Type in the name in First Name box by touch at First Name field.
Huh?!? What's that. Oh, it's the new input method called Alphanumeric Keyboard. Actually there are 4 input methods in Series 60 5th Edition. I will write about them in the next part.
Umm, it supports so many languages. Very interesting...
Fill inthe First name and Mobile phone number and then press Done.
Result
Now I try to add my thumbnail to my contact information.
Nice UI! I like it.
Next application I'm going to show you is... Calendar.
There is additional area at the lower of screen. This area is used for showing the calendar entries.
Next app is Gallery.
You can notice that there are so many major changes of Gallery from the S60 3rd Edition. Every entries have been showed in Grid.
The thing that I like most of Gallery application is you can Edit Image.
You can add effects as you want. Cool! I like this feature much.
One more thing that is very interesting is wmv file is fully supported.
Next is Camera. Camera UI come in the landscape view like in S60 3rd Edition.
So many effects still be there.
Music Player
The buttons are so big. It's very user friendly for touch based UI.The interesting thing in Music Player application is you can seek through the file using the timeline at the center of screen.
Last one, Web Browser.
(Sorry that I opened my native language website so the text inside may be unreadable)
I must admit that I'm very impressive on this generation of Web Browser. It can render nearly perfect (or may be perfect already!)
You can zoom in/out easily using your finger.
This new generation of Web Browser come with many interesting options and user friendly UI.
Let see what you get when you change screen mode to Full Screen and Landscape mode. Very great!
This is the most important factor for me to buy Nokia 5800. Big Screen, Perfect Rendering. Wow!
Input Methods
This will be the last part I will write about Series 60 5th Edition. The Input Methods. As I said above, there are 4 input methods in Series 60 5th Edition. Let's see one by one.
Alphanumeric Keypad
It's on screen keypad. You are still able to use T9 in this mode.
Mini QWERTY Keyboard
It's a small QWERTY on screen keyboard. This is the only mode that you can see the application while typing. While you press any key in keyboard, there will be some popup called Character Preview show above that key. This will help you to type more accurate.
One more thing about this mode is you can move on screen keyboard anywhere you want using the top right button on on screen keyboard.
Full screen QWERTY Keyboard
When you select this input method, the screen will change to landscape mode automatically.
In my opinion, it's the most suitable input mode for touch based UI like Series 60 5th Edition.
By the way, there is Character Preview in this mode too.
Handwriting
Touch Screen and Handwriting are always come along. ;)
Wow, this is quite long article (and quite hard for me to write it with my bad English skill. ^^")
Hope these information is useful. :)
Good luck, Series 60!

Dear All,
It's quite been a long time that MobiTubia, FLV Player and YouTube Client for Series 60 phone, have been launched. Today, I decided to open source some part of MobiTubia. It's called "MobiFLV", an open source version of FLV Player for Symbian, which is build for developer especially. You can download source code from "Source Code" section of mobitubia.com right now!
I deeply hope that the publication of MobiFLV will drive the mobile market more or less. :)
By the way, Talk to the Guru section in the topic "Expand S60 ability" still open for discussion. If you have anything to ask me, please feel free to discuss in that section.
Best Regards,

Be honor to be invited from Forum Nokia to host a Talk to the Guru session this month.
I am happy to discuss with all of you in the topic "Discuss Innovative Ways to Expand S60 on Symbian Phone Ability".
Let's discuss about innovative ways to make your Symbian device more than mobile phone! I am happy to talk about my old projects, MobiTubia, MosKillTo, NeuTouch, NeuScreen, Neu360, NeuPen, etc., and also my near future projects, NeuKeyboard and ... FLV Player Open Source! Sure I never revealed it anywhere. Here is the first place. ;)
And here is video demonstration of one of my projects.
Let's share the idea and make the world move forward together.
Looking forward to discussing with all of you. :)
