Nokia OVI Store launched

Today the Nokia OVI Store finally launched starting from Australia. Dale, a Forum Nokia Champion, has posted some screenshots and a walkthrough of a game purchase. It seems that the first countries to receive the OVI Store are the ones with Operator/Carrier billing integration. By the way, the OVI Store look like is a WRT application.

Nokia announced several new handsets which are all Flash Lite 3.0 enabled phones:

Plus a new Nokia S40 Edition, the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte which is Flash Lite 2.1 enabled.

Almost all S40 and all S60 Nokia handsets are Flash Lite enabled. So it's a valuable solution for delivering mobile content. If you are interested in knowing more about Adobe Flash Lite capabilities and features there are several eSeminar at the moment hosted by Dale Rankine.

There is a new firmware for the Nokia N81, v20.0.056, which adds Flash Lite 3.0 and Web RunTime capabilities in addition to many other.

I will add these information to WURFL as soon as I can get the User Agent from somewhere!

Via AllAboutSymbian, the Nokia N95-3 NA firmware upgrade 20.02.011 is now available, Flash Lite 3.0 and WRT.

Will need to add the UA Profile to WURFL as soon as I upgrade mine!

Via AllAboutSymbian, Nokia N82 firmware v20.0.062 brings Flash Lite 3.0 and WRT. The upgrade is available using the NSU.

Will need to add the UA Profile to WURFL as soon as I upgrade mine!

The Nokia Firmware 21.0.016 is available, which includes Flash Lite 3 and WRT. I am sure many N95 users will be happy with the upgrade!
