I´ve played Fifa 2007 and Asphalt 3D from N-Gage Plataform and i had the same experience within the keyboard. I agree with you when you points that while playing games they (games) must have priority on keys (Except of course in some events, like sms or incomming calls).

Its kinda annoying to play fifa on the d-pad cause you always accidentally press the music button (for me , its about 5-8 times per match).

Compared to what?

 <dc:title>Compared to what?</dc:title>

Hi Tote,

It is a great game isn't it! :-)

I hadn't really found the load time particularly bad. I'd agree with your estimate of around 1 minute to load both N-Gage and a game, possibly a bit longer. Compared to other phone games I guess that's a long time. I was mentally comparing it to loading an equivalent quality game on the old PS1 though - it's faster than that.

I expect there are several things that could be done to speed it up - particularly to let you choose which game you want to load without waiting so long. I suppose it's an important point if you're only playing for 5-10 minutes.

Mark

My favourite,too

 <dc:title>My favourite,too</dc:title>

Hi Mark,

That's my favourite game, too. And actually my family's as well. My girls always ask me to just play once more. :)

Other than that I also love Poker, however, it's very easy to play in trial mode.

Anyway, what you seem to forget to mention is the time it takes to start N-Gage framework as well as the games. I did not measure it, but it's not unfair to say that it takes ~1 minute to start N-Gage + Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep. Isn't that too long? Well, I can imagine there's lots of things to load into memory, however, it's much longer than what I'm used to.
